The Cause

Oklahoma Greenfest is dedicated to supporting local greening efforts.
This year we have partnered with Sustainable Tulsa to bring you the 2010
Sustainable Tulsa Eco-Market. Proceeds from the market will benefit
Sustainable Tulsa.
Sustainable Tulsa promotes responsible economic growth, environmental stewardship and quality of life for all. They provide the Tulsa area with educational opportunities and green strategies through our Greening the (918) public seminars, Tulsa Area Green Directory, Eat Local Bite of Tulsa, Fall Local Foods Dinner, website, partnerships and more.
Greening the (918)
A partnership between Sustainable Tulsa and the Mayor’s Green Team,
Greening the (918) is an interactive series of public seminars led by a panel of experts and graphically facilitated by Sean Griffin. The mission for each seminar is to inspire the community to set goals and plan strategies for Tulsa to become one of the greenest cities in the nation.
Tulsa Area Green Directory
The Tulsa Area Green Directory is the first in Tulsa - a list of over 700 businesses and agencies that promote green living. Visit our website for the online version of the Tulsa Area Green Directory at www.sustainabletulsa.org, or look for copies at area businesses.
Local Foods
Sustainable Tulsa promotes buying and eating local foods. We offer educational seminars as well as two local food events - Eat Local Bite of Tulsa and Fall Local Foods Dinner - to support local farmers and exhibit the rich agricultural resources in the Tulsa area.
