Environmental Policy Statement

OK GreenFest is committed to protecting the environment, health and safety of our staff, and our community.  It is our policy to strive to be a Carbon Neutral event and to continually seek improvements towards that goal.  We are committed to limiting and reducing our local and global environmental impact by conserving energy and other natural resources; reducing our waste generation; offering local and organic choices; recycling and purchasing recycled products; using alternative energy sources when possible; and purchasing carbon offset credits.  We are committed to protecting the environment, fostering environmental education, meeting and exceeding all regulatory requirements; and establishing a model for other events to follow.
