Oklahoma Greenfest Music & Arts Festival is an annual festival that brings together music fans, local artists, and environmental awareness First held in 2008, the festival is a great opportunity to not only entertain, but also educate and inform music fans on ways we can all reduce our “carbon footprint.” A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local greening efforts.

At OKGreenfest, we are focusing our efforts on doing our part to be green by implementing lots of small changes. We are committed to this effort by being a “carbon neutral” event. We plan to accomplish this goal by:

• Offering more organic, locally grown choices by backstage catering ops and food vendors. We require all food to be served on paper or compostable plates. We will also be encouraging hand-held food choices and requiring all food areas to use toxic-free cleansers.
• Recycling water bottles and drink cups.
• Not allowing any Styrofoam on festival grounds.
• Using recycled paper from toilet paper and food napkins to marketing materials. We will also be recycling cardboard and replacing paper hand towels with hand sanitizer.
